Ok, so Heidi said that I needed to update.  Here are a couple pics that we took yesterday when we got home from John Rihner's funeral.  Not too bad for self timed, right?  Don't like this cold weather.  I know that this really isn't cold, but I would rather have no wind and 75'.  Anyway, let me know what you think of the pics.

You know you're in Iowa, when you have a beautiful day and then24 hrs later it is cold, windy and rainy.  Will spring ever come.  Better yet, skip spring and go right to summer.  That would be just fine with me.

WOW! Three in a row.  How do we rate!!  It was a beautiful day today.  So thankful  that it was my afternoon off.  I got home around 2:00pm.  I usually visit mom and dad after work on Wednesdays.  Had to stop at grocery store and farm and home store.  Mowed lawn when I got home, then went to town and planted potatoes.  3 rows, about 54 hills.  Hopefully,can plant onions, radishes, and lettuce on Friday.  I have the day off, Dr. Markham is at Spring Conference at Creighton. 

Probably have bored you enough.  Hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did.  You know that I love being out side.  Will keep you posted with the gardening.

Well, here I am working off of Jason's laptop.  Isn't it ironic, since he and Heidi are the one's that got me started on this.

 We came up here to visit.  Hadn't seen Jason, Brenda and the kids since Thanksgiving.  There is less snow here, but more then around the Chicago area.

Today, Brenda, Shelby, and I are going to Detroit to the IKEA store.  I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been there before, but Brenda and Shelby have. It's  supposed to be a nice day, sunny outside right now. Jackson and Shelby are playing hooky to spend time with Papa and I. The little ones are still going to Patty's. Jason has to go to work til noon, so that leaves Papa and Jackson together this morning.

Brenda's back so it's time for us to leave on our adventure.

Would like to talk to people who say that they like snow, and say "HOW DO YOU LIKE IT NOW"??  I for one am very tired of it.  The roads will be horrible when it starts to melt.  If people would just clean the yards of as much snow as possible and pile it so that it doesn't run on to the roads that would be a big help.  Just use a little common sense. 

Will be a zoo at work this next week with all the cancellations from Thursday and Friday.  But will help the days to go fast.

What a day!,  Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.  Had a few cancelations.  Tomorrow is really booked.  It's our 7-2 day straight thru.But no work on Saturday.  Looking forward to that.  Only 1' right now.  Only hi of about 8' today.  Ready for a warming trend.  Need to look at new cell phones.  Any suggestions?

Must have been a very busy day for VOX yesterday.  Tried and tried to post late in the afternoon and again in the evening.  Have to be to work by 7:30 so this will be short. 

Hope all of you had a loving Valentine's Day.  The weather was not real conducive to going out for dinner.  We stayed home.  Mert watched the Outdoor Channel and I did my nails and tried to post. 

Need to go and battle the cold weather, and kids.  No school today, tomorrow, or Monday, so we have a lot of check-ups.  I love my grandchildren, but by Monday night, I might be ready to scream.  Maybe even pull some teeth, Taylor are you ready?

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, hope that all yoiu guys have big plans made for your lovers.  I'm sure that Mert has a big evening planned for me. 

Glad to see that we have been added to another neighborhood.  Always fun to have new neighbors. 

Not looking forward to anymore snow.  Ready for spring.  Tired of wearing long winter coat.  Ready for flip/flops,tanks,and shorts----a camp fire, lawn chair and a tall drink of ------------------------------------

Oops!  Just got caught by one of the kids.  Have nachos waiting in the kitchen.  Will see what she wants then close . 

Have to work tomorrow til noon.  Should not be right to do dental work on Saturdays.
